  • We would advise not using any sort of refreshers, polishes, waxes, or oils. This can impact the longevity of the finish and can cause issues down the line if you want to have a maintenance coat done to your floors.

  • Generally no.

    If your floor has water damage, gouges, deep scratches, cupping, yellowing, discoloration, animal stains or oils, it will need to be re-sanded or potentially need replaced.

    If you choose to have a new floor installed or an old floor re-sanded by us and as long as proper care and maintenance is met on your floor, we can come clean , buff and apply a fresh topcoat to your floor. This maintenance coat is something that can be done every 5-10 years. This will be significantly cheaper than the cost of getting a brand new floor. With proper care and maintenance coats, your new floor could last you a lifetime.

  • This will all depend on the size, location, and scale of your project. Generally 1000sq/ft re-sand will take around one full work week to complete. This includes finishing and dry time.
